Steady Eddie and CD East is too much for Harrisburg....

In a highly anticipated match up of two of the top teams in the Mid Penn, the crowd got what they came for....  A GREAT GAME!!!!

The first of the match ups between top 3 junior point guards Eddie Cowan and Jerel Patterson......   Scoring machines Haiisheen MacIntyre and Reggie Dudley......  High riser Aris Scott vs Do it all wing forward Steven Stoney...  Plus defensive and slasher Tony McCraw vs ex Philly sharp shooter Don Ralls

Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan gets on the floor for his team

Harrisburg thrives off of their pressure defense...  They're like sharks in the water when blood touches it...  Today, the area's #1 pg in the 2013 class Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan served as the life jacket for his CD East Panthers doing whatever he wanted and getting wherever he wanted on the court....

As Harrisburg looked to rattle East's ball handlers, they were unsuccessful as Cowan and McCraw are seasoned vets and did a great job breaking the press and finding the right guys to finish...

Cowan seems to be using all the tools he learned through out the years from playing under Coach Bruce Leib, playing in NYC with Hard 2 Guard Sports, working out with college players and the time he's spent at various camps like 5 star basketball camp where he was the defensive player of the week....

Reggie " Instant Offense" Dudley led CD East in scoring with 22 points, while Cowan chipped in 15 points, 9 assist, 4 steals and a number of drawn fouls on the Harrisburg guards while knocking down 11 free throws himself for the game... while 6'5 soph sensation Anthony "AWRIGHT" Wright chipped in a smooth 11 points, 11 boards and had some sweet finish moves and outside shots....

Harrisburg was of course led by Haiisheen MacIntyre with 19 points and Don Ralls chipped in 15 points hitting 3 three pointers...  Chris Britton was a beast on the boards pulling down 12 rebs and scoring 8 points as well....

This was a game where the Cougars needed guys like Steven Stoney and Jerel Patterson to do more and I'm sure these guys will bounce back....

CD East will be a tough team to beat if Cowan continues to play the way he's been playing...

  6. Sheen is being recruited and Dudley is just blowing up on the scene.... I would say Sheen is a low to mid D1 talent and Dudley can play at a nice D2 school at this moment...

Stoney is still a junior and still has to show consistancy...
