Predictions for Friday 1/13/12....
Let's take a look at Fridays games.....
McDevitt @ Steel Hi - McD is on a roll winning 6 of their last 7 games including nice wins over Chambersburg and CD East... Aaron Devan can go for 30 on any given night but the great thing is he doesn't have to for McD to win.... Everyone contributes... Steelton has been struggling to find a consistent scorer and the group that was once regarded as a stellar sophomore class has got to step up... Guys like Anthony Ferguson, Broderick Settle-Simmons, and Q McNeil will need to play big and JC Brandt has to do more..... McD wins this one by 11 in an ugly game.... Steelton just can not score enough points to win...
CD East @ CV - East is coming off of a disappointing loss to McD and really need to regroup if they want to have a chance to get back to the top of the division... CV will not lay down to East as they always play well against them.... CV has a losing record but don't think for one minute that this will be an easy game... They match up well against East and this is a game of match ups..... East pulls out a close one by 5 points.... AWright saves the day.....
Carlisle @ Harrisburg - This will be close in the first quarter and part of the second as Carlisle tries to slow the game down.... Then reality sets in as the Cougars score close to 70 points or more in a 30 point win.... Lots of Cougars hit the score books...
Chambersburg @ CD - C-Burg hasn't been playing too bad as they will compete hard against CD.... If they can find a way to get Devin on the bench early, they'll have a chance to pull off the upset.... CD has the experience and just know how to win.... I'm calling for CD to win by 15 points.....
Emmanuel Baptist @ Valley Forge Baptist - EBCA has been playing extremely well lately winning 4 of their last 5 games... Nehemiah Mack (19ppg, 14.8 rebs) has been on a tear and is playing on a high level.... Collin Reeves has been averaging 14 points over the past 6 games and it was much needed.... Valley Forge is a physical team and may be a little too big for EBCA.... Valley Forge by 7 points....
Hershey @ Shippensburg - Wont even be a close game.... Hershey stays undefeated as they pound it inside to the bigs.....
Middletown @ Susquenita - Middletown is playing as good as any team in any conference.... They have all the weapons they need and they built some incredible swagger during the process... Big win as they cruise to a 22 point victory....
Milton Hershey @ Trinity - This will be an awesome game as both teams are some of the tops in the area.... MH has a stud in Yaphet Michael who can flat out play... He'll kill you from the outside or penetration.... Ibn Short has a field day on the paint and will have to battle it out will Patrick Dill and Brandon Kuntz all night.... Trinity has a slew of guards to stay in attack mode so this should be a fun one to watch... MH has been in a few close losses but this time, they turn the corner.... MH wins at Trinity by 3 points....
