In this Mid Penn conference, you better not take a night off.... With a bunch of teams in the middle of the pack trying to protect their home court at least, McDevitt did just that in a 49 - 41 victory over Carlisle....
It was a close game the entire game as both teams would exchange the lead back and forth.... Suddenly in the 4th quarter, IT CLICKED for McDevitt.... Down 1 point with the ball, Jaquan Johnson swung it over to soph guard Donte Vaughn in the corner who pump faked the shot drove and kicked it to sharp shooter DJ Polacheck who hit the shot to put McD up by 1....after a steal, Aaron Devan hits Vaughn in the corner for a huge 3 ball that put the Crusaders up by 4 and the crowd went BONKERS!!!! If that wasn't enough, Polacheck then got a steal and over threw the pass to Vaughn on the fast break... He hustled to save the ball and found a cutting freshman named Milik Gantz who converted the layup AND the foul to ice the game for MCD...
Devan finished the game with 18 points, Polacheck 12 points and 5 steals, Vaughn scored 9, Johnson contributed 6 points and 6 steals while Gantz chipped in with 4 points....
