Predictions for today 1/20/12.....

Here's a look at some of today's games in the area.....
CD @ McDevitt - 1 month ago, no one would be even talking about this game.....   Today, this game just might be the game to watch as the "Most Improved Team" in the area, McDevitt looks to continue their hot streak against the top team in the area CD....  Devin Thomas always has big numbers against the Crusaders and I don't expect things to be any different...  If McDevitt can get consistent all around play from their top 7 players and apply full court pressure on CD's guards, they can keep this game close....  Look for CD to pound the ball inside to Thomas as he goes for a 20/20 night....    CD by 12 points......

Harrisburg @ Chambersburg - Cougars are almost done with a rough week as they went all the way to Williamsport on Wednesday, now are back on the road to Chambersburg today, then waking up early to play Steelton in an afternoon game tomorrow....  Are the Cougars mentally prepared for this game is the question.... No doubt they have enough talent to win big but the wear and tear from travel, practice and games could play a factor....  Chambersburg will compete and make it close but the Cougars wake up in the 2nd half and pull out a victory....    Harrisburg by 9 points on the road.....

Hershey @ Susquehanna - Hershey steps onto the Indians court with an "UNDEFEATED" mark on their back....   It's difficult to stay that way in the Mid Penn....   Hershey has all the tools and pretty good coaching to be in every game they play....  Banas and Brantly are tough to stop inside and have been nightmares for the opposing teams all year....   Hanna will need the experience of Shaq Brim and Vaughn Jones to help Susquehanna to even have a chance at winning.....  The young guys have to play their roles and  do the dirty work today.....  Hershey still get the win by 10 points......

Lower Dauphin @ Red Land -  LD has been up and down this season but they are always a threat when you have Cody "The Real" Deal on their team (Shout out to Abby Vaughn for the name)...  Deal is a tough guy to stop, PERIOD!!!!   He has the ability to get Red Land's forwards in foul trouble early and often.....
Red Land's guards will have to have better games, especially Dom Antenelli, who is capable of putting up big numbers....  The defense will be designed to stop Zangari, but it won't happen....   Red Land gets a much needed win by 6 points......

Steel Hi @ East -  Game 1 was an overtime thriller, expect game 2 to be no less exciting....   I love the match up of Jordan "AI" Millberry vs Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan....  These two have been going at it since the Steelton Pee Wee league days....  East has been playing just as well as anyone around and Steelton has seem to finally find their offensive game....   Aris Scott has been tired of watching and now he's playing like the athlete he is, while Reggie Dudley is one of the leading scorers in the area.....  Mark Perry has been really playing well for Steelton but can he keep Scott off the boards????   East wins by 5 in another close game.....

Trinity @ Boiling Springs - Not even a contest...   Trinity by 25 points....

  1. Coach: You're still missing out on a player to watch from Middletown class of '15. Ladhellis Charlston is a do everything player that should be playing up, but is playing on the freshman team this year.

  2. Larry,
Is this kid real good? Does he have height and how is his scoring? Do you see him starting as a freshman on varsity next year?
