New Hope Middle school gets huge win over Lancaster Wheatland.....

All week Coach Chris Scott had been hearing about how good Wheatland was and how they're the best middle school team in Lancaster....  Instead of fearing them, he used it as motivation to get his team fired up....  I guess it worked as the came out with the road victory of 59 - 37.....

Wheatland produces most of the best players that end up at McCasky which is a big time AAAA school with a history of winning lots of games...  New Hope is a small single A school with only 550 students from 5th - 12th grade....

All around guard Montrel Morgan led the way with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist and 4 steals.....  Morgan was able to create big plays for himself and others...  His confidence level is at an all time high as he was coming off of  a 32 point performance against York Catholic on Tuesday....

Louis Valentin had a career high with 18 points and 9 rebounds plus 2 blocks while Esteban Martinez and NyKam Beverly scored 8 and 6 points respectfully....

Elliot Wilson also had a big game on the boards with 9 rebounds and provided some much needed energy in his first start of the season.....

If this group of guys can stick together over the years, they may be able to match up with most AAAA teams in the area....  They are looking really good....

  1. Please don't judge how good your program by any lancaster middle school, because the best two players who can win games by themselves are playing for there freshman program and are the catalyst for the freshmen teams 5-0 start defeating teams by an average of 25 points per game while only playing half the game because of the score( Kobe Gantz and Randolph Hunter) both of these players played with new hopes best player ( Montrell Morgan). Also wheatland might be weakest program in lancaster school district and most of the top players come from lincoln were Kobe goes and hand were Randolph attends. If you don't know ask Montrell about them.
