Predictions for 1/27/12 games....

Here's a look at the games for 1/27/12....  What are some of your thoughts???

CD @ CD East - Round two should be just as good as the first as CD walked away with a nice win...   The match ups are still the same and the only way East can pull this one out is if Reggie Dudley comes with his "A" game....   Steady Eddie will do what he does, but Dudley and McCraw will have to hit shots....  If they aren't on, Expect Eddie to have to take matters into his own hands a little more.  Thomas is back and ready to roll....  I expect a HUGE game from him....   CD wins by 5 pts.... 

CV @ McDevitt -  CV has a chance to win this game because of their strength inside with David Craig....  He's a handful to handle in that paint....  McDevitt is working hard to get a good seed for the playoffs so expect them to be 100% focused on winning this game....   Freshman Milik Gantz seems to be finally getting comfortable with the Varsity game and that can be huge for McDevitt....   This game may be tight but McD can pull it out by 8 pts....  *****Just heard that Craig is out for the season, if so, McD wins by 17 pts...*****


Steelton @ Harrisburg -   Steel Hi had a very successful season although they've won 5 games thus far...  They only won 1 game last year...  They will come out pumped up to play Harrisburg but they Cougars will be a little more focused as they are playing for playoff positioning as well as a spot in the Mid Penn tourney....   Harrisburg will be fine the rest of the way as long as the PLAYERS and COACHES are all focused on one thing, and that's "WHAT'S BEST FOR THE TEAM?"  I say the Cougars come together and win by 15....  Too much MacIntyre....






Hershey @ LD -  Hershey has been very dominent but it is so hard to go undefeated in the regular season....  They're coming off of an emotional win against Cedar Cliff and it can be draining....  Cody "The Real" Deal is capable of putting up big numbers as well as Ben Goss who is good for at least 14 pts...  I think Deal gets hot and shocks the league with a 3 pt win as Hershey gets their first loss...


Palmyra @ Susquehanna - It's payback time as Hanna is coming off of their best performance of the year against Trinity....  Only problem was they still lost the game....  Expect the same energy as they look to split the series with Palmyra and Hanna come up with a 10 pt win....  Joe Marshall comes up big, while Gabe Mack and Jahaad Proctor gets hot as Shoop gets some help from others....

New Covenent Christian @ Emmanuel Baptist - EBCA has been playing well but can they sustain is the question?....   They a New Covenent team that has size....  Especially 6'11 Nathaniel Dawson who averages about 24ppg....  but they have been struggling with their first year in the PIAA with a 0 - 11 record...   Expect EBCA to press from bell to buzzer as they push the tempo to force turnovers...  Nehemiah Mack, Tim Kile, and Collin Reeves all have the ability to put up big numbers....  The "X" factor will be if Tyrece Little can duplicate his effort from the last game (19pts, 4 steals off the bench) ....  I say EBCA by 7...
