Predictions for today's games 1/11/12......

I may be late but it's better than not doing it at all.......


McDevitt @ CD East - These two teams are both on a roll right now....  MCD has won 5 of their last 6 games because of a total team effort, while East is coming off of a huge emotional win vs #9 State ranked Harrisburg.  Aaron Devan is having somewhat of a homecoming since he used to be the perimeter go to guy for East before transferring to MCD....  Reggie Dudley was a soph along with Devan but Dudley was forced to sit and wait his turn to get on the floor....  As competitive as Dudley is, that didn't sit well with him so expect him to go 110% on the floor today.....  The key matchup will be Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan vs Jaquan "Hungry" Johnson.... These two are the leaders of their teams and will have to keep their teams under control....  East will also need Aris Scott and Anthony "AWright" Wright to dominate the glass while Tony McCraw and Siele Johnson slash to the basket and defend wing guys like Donte' Vaughn and Jordan Brooks like crazy...   This will be a good game but East pulls it out in Overtime by 4 points....

Carlisle @ CD - This shouldn't be too much of a game as CD will dump the ball inside often...  Ryan Beaver has been playing great for CD from the perimeter so expect another big game from him....   Devin doesn't play the 4th quarter in this 23 point victory for CD....

Chambersburg @ Steel Hi - Chambersburg has been very competitive playing with Skyler Roman and that speaks volumes of their coach....  Steel Hi has been in every game they play but just can't get over that hump....  Coming off of a disappointing loss and much needed win vs Carlisle, Steel Hi needs to find a way to win...  Jordan Milberry shouldn't be their leading scorer because HE'S LOOKING TO PASS THE BALL....  The question is, who wants to step up and become a real player for Steel Hi?  Unless Steel Hi players develop a better work ethic, they'll be looking forward to next year real quick...  Chambersburg by 7 in another close loss for Steelton....

Harrisburg @ CV - Harrisburg is coming off of a very emotional loss for the players and they need to re group quick fast and in a hurry....  Haiisheen MacIntyre puts up big numbers on bad nights but with no other consistent threat on the floor, he can't afford to be off tonight...  David Craig at 6'5 will be a handful inside for Harrisburg as Chris Britton at 6'1 is the primary banger....  Steven Stoney should be ready to play but expect to see MacIntyre play a little point guard tonight if the Cougars aren't able to dictate the pace of the game early....  Defense wins the game for Harrisburg...  Patients wins the game for CV.....  I'm going with Harrisburg by 14 points in a game with a lot of free throws.....
