Great games tonight in the HBG area.....

Here's a look at some of the games in the local area.....

CD East losses to Chambersburg 75 - 58 as Chambersburg was in control the entire game....  East tried to make a comeback with back to back threes by Steady Eddie Cowan (11pts, 8 assist) which brought the lead down to 9 but Chambersburg did a great job finishing off the game at the free throw line as Tay Charles knocked down 9 of his 13 points from the charity stripes...  Reggie Dudley led all scorers with 23 points including 4 threes....  ***Big loss for CD East as soph Anthony "AWright" Wright may have broke his foot during the game....   Send out a prayer for this fine young man...***

Emmanuel Baptist took down Red Lion Christian at home 75 - 58 as Nehemiah "Bud" Mack had a career day with 33 points, 23 rebounds, 10 assist and 4 steals for the Patriots....   Mack was all over the court and took total control of the ball game....  Not bad for a 6'0 185lbs point guard with lots of room for growth....    Collin Reeves chipped in 15 points while Jansen Morrison had 10 points...

Susquehanna goes down to Redland 48 - 45 at home....   Gabe Mack (Nehemiahs
's older brother) tried to keep Susquehanna alive by knocking down 4 three pointers but Mike Zangari and his 22 points were just too much for the Indians....

CD gets past Harrisburg in overtime 52 - 50....  with 4 secs left in the 4th quarter, CD is down by two as the ball gets to Nick Seefelt who understood clock management and got the ball to Devin "ACC Family"  Thomas for the layup to put the game into overtime....   While in overtime, CD takes a 3 point lead so Harrisburg gets the ball to who else? you guessed it, Haiishen MacIntyre who took a well challenged shot while falling away and buried it to tie the game up at 50....   With 5.4 secs left, CD gets the ball to Devin "ACC Family" Thomas who pushed the ball to his left and found Ryan Beaver with .8 on the clock as he hurried the shot into the basket to hit the game winner....   All you could say was "WOW"....
Thomas finished with a game high of 28 points while MacIntyre led the Cougars with 23 points....  Jerel Patterson also scored 14 for the Cougars and Daquan Ware came off the bench with 7 rebs and 6 steals....

Steel Hi picked up their 6th win beating CV by 1 point 56 - 55 on the road....   This is a great win for Steel Hi moving forward....  Mark "Little Man" Perry led the Rollers with 22 points as he sliced his way into the paint all night...  Other than that, it was a pretty balanced attack all night as both teams went back and forth making run after run....  It's a shame that somebody had to lose....

M-Town rolled on West Perry 54 - 42 at home....  Jason McElwee led the team with 16 points and Jared Deibler chipped in 13 for the Blue Raiders.....   M-Town played great defense on West Perry's guard Jesse Urich holding him to 3 points for the game....

Cedar Cliff beat Palmyra 66- 52 as Colton Lewis scored 22 points and Christo Majok chipped in 20 points to help Cedar Cliff lock up the second place seed in the Mid Penn for Keystone Division....

McDevitt beat Carlisle but still waiting on stats....   However, I have heard the McD soph guard Donte' Vaughn is out 7 months due to a torn ACL....  Let's stay in prayer for this young man....  Good ball player, even better person!

  1. Carlisle/McDevitt was no contest; however DeVann picked up two T's so will be out for tonight's game v.Lower Dauphin. Donte is the nicest kid in the world, but the MRI does show a torn ACL.
