Early in the year when you looked at this game, it didn't really have much meaning to it..... but today, this game means the world to both teams.....
Both teams are sitting right around that 20th and 21st spot for their respected levels of play Susquehanna (7 - 14) and Lower Dauphin (11 - 10) so this turns into a must win for both teams.....
Susquehanna is facing a little adversity late in the season with the changing of line ups and the inconsistency of the players.... Tonights game, Susquehanna will have to play without Sophomore guard Justin MacAuther who is out with a flu like sickness.... Johnas Paige will be suited up again tonight after so hopefully that will help Susquehanna out... Also, we may see Freshman Sharp Shooter Jahaad Proctor get his first start for the year.... This could be a huge game for him if he can provide the one two punch from the perimeter with Soph Gabe "Lights Out" Mack who hits roughly 55% of his 3 point attempts.... It's tough to find a better shooter in the Mid Penn than Mack....
LD will be led by Cody "Real" Deal who is capable of dropping big numbers on any given night.... He will get some help from pg Ben Goss who is capable of getting double figures and also handles the pressure very well....
This will be a very good game and I predict that Hanna will pull this game out on the road.... Mack and Proctor will play very well together and Sheppard will be a handful inside.... Hanna by 3 points....

ReplyDeleteLD lost their patience on offense in the third quarter which cost them momentum when they were on the verge of a double digit lead after half. Shame for the seniors who provided great leadership and worked so hard to give this team a respectable season.
