Predictions for 2/03/12......

Here's a look at the games for today....

Carlisle @ Steel Hi - These Rollers just won a tight one vs CV and that's a great thing moving forward....  Learning how to pull out tight games will be valuable in the near future for these guys....  Carlisle will come ready to play but so will Steel Hi....  I expect Mark Perry to continue playing big and with Steel Hi's bench giving good minutes, they may be able to pull this one out....  Steelton by 8 pts....

Chambersburg @ McD -  Chambersberg just came off a big win vs East and may be clicking at the right time...   McD has been a little out of sinc but should be able to get it back together with Devan coming back....   This will be a really good game and will be worth the price of admission for sure...   Chambersburg has the biggs and McD has the guards....  I can see C-Burg getting a nice win on the road....  Chambersburg by 6 points...

CV @ CD - Not even a game....  CD by 19 pts...

Harrisburg @ CD East - This game has been changed to a 4pm start time and that could play a factor in the atmosphere of the game.....  Harrisburg thrives off of their JV team and their dominance and ability to excite the crowd....   That won't happen because CD East doesn't want to play the JV game.....   This may benefit East because Harrisburg bench guys are usually the jv guys and they are normally warmed up already...  East can handle Harrisburg's ball pressure with Steady Eddie and Tony McCraw, while Reggie Dudley and Aris Scott will fill the lanes and attack the basket....  Haiisheen MacIntyre is the lone consistent player for Harrisburg on the offensive end but Rell Patterson has stepped it up a notch as of late....   Look for Daquan Ware to provide some solid minutes off the bench for Harrisburg as he'll probably have to cover Scott....  This game will be a nail bitter but I can see Harrisburg pulling out a 5 point win....  Just a little more prepared for the game....

Hanna @ Cedar Cliff - Sad to say this but this may not even be a game worth seeing...  Hanna has been playing bad consistently this year.....  Cedar Cliff will be ready and fired up for this game as always....  Majok has been playing on another level as well as Colton Lewis....  I would say CC by 20 points+.....

Middletown @ Trinity - M-Town has all the tools to pull off the upset but can the three big guns (Deibler, McElwee and Zimmerman) all perform at the same time????   Trinity has been playing well all season and this will be a great game to test their will to win...  M-Town will not lay down so expect a great game....   I say Trinity still wins by 9 points because of free throws...

Valley Forge @ Emmanuel Baptist - Valley Forge beat EBCA by 7pts in the first meeting but had them by 20 at one point...  EBCA has been playing much better since that game and they didn't have starting guard Tim Kile at that game....  If Bud Mack and Ty Little can stay out of foul trouble, EBCA can win this game by double digits....  If not, it will be extremely close....   I say those guys will play overly aggressive too early and the refs won't let them play.....  Valley Forge by 5 points.....

    1. He will light it up.... I just think Chambersburg is playing with a chip on their shoulder.... plus they came off of a huge win over East...

    1. Not sure where these guys are getting looks from.... I do know Devan had some interest from Delaware State but he may fall more into a D2 program.... Which I don't think is a bad thing at all.... The only players on that list I feel will end up on a D1 roster are MacIntyre and Banas.... Although, MacIntyre would have a better career at a very good D2 like IUP.... Majok and Aikey would be a very good fit at a strong D3 school like PSU Harrisburg... Aru probably will play football at the next level....

    2. Aaron's looking for a D1, but a D2 would be best suited for him. Hasheen will not make see much PT at a high or mid level D1. Maybe some PT in lower D1. I could see him going to an Ivy or Patriot league team. Kid has smarts. Aikey and Banas also D2. Rumor has it that Roman has verbally committed to D2 Sheperd University in WV.

  4. Aikey should go DII. Aru is more interested in football. Devan and Roman are one dimensional players. Devan has a weird release and hates D. Roman, being hurt his whole senior year will have to play Juco to have a chance at college but plays zero D. Both are easily shut down by good defender. However, both are good people, I'm just being critical for critical's sake. McIntyre should be able to write his own ticket as he is the whole package. DI's just getting to reopen recruiting for players that weren't blue chippers.

  5. Its ashame the way M-town has great height and talent this year and their coach is clueless on how to use it. Does not use the height available and lost games for them they should have never lost. I would have loved to see what Coach Heusser from LD'S girls would have done with the talent they have. Collin Easter is hardly used to be effective Why they do not use them both under the boards is beyond me.

    1. I'm sure you've been to more Mtown games than I have so what you say may have some truth to it. I do know that Mtown has at least 3 kids who can play on the next level and there's no WAY they shouldn't have at least 6 more wins... On top of that, they shouldn't lose by 20pts either.

  6. Trinity went on a 21-2 run. You need a strong bench to beat Trinity. They are throwing ten players at you all night and they know how to play defense. I think there is only one senior starter. Look out next year!

    1. If I'm Trinity, I'm scheduling all tough non league games vs District 1 and 12 teams next year.... Compete on a high level all throughout the season because their league won't challenge them at all....

    2. guess they can compete with all the feeder schools that come trinity's way. Their coach is a whiner. They need to play up!

  7. I think they will be moving back to the Keystone Division, next year.

  8. Thank you coach little. You see what i see and the coach is lacking. He is outcoached in a lot of games and keeps teams close by the running in and out all game. Sorry but nice guy but beginning to doubt him as a coach because he has great talent and abundance of height this year.
