Can McDevitt or Susquehanna make a run in Districts????

When you look at the brackets for AAA, I help help but to keep saying to myself, "It's anybody's game"...  I don't really see a clear cut dominant team on the AAA level.....

I look at teams like McDevitt and Susquehanna and I just think that they actually have a chance to make a run and get into States.....

McDevitt will take on Lancaster Catholic team who is playing good basketball but lost to a Mid Penn team (Trinity) by 29 points back in December.....  This is a new season, and I get that, but McDevitt has played better competition than LC....  I can see McD winning this game by double digits as they will be prepared for the game....

Jaquan Johnson is in his last year of playing HS Basketball....  This kid is a 4 year starter and knows how to lead a team....    He's a lock down defender but HE WILL HAVE TO SCORE THE BALL IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!   Teams are prepared to stop Devan but will more than likely take a chance on Johnson beating them...  He needs to be ready...

DJ Polacheck will have to be his normal self, the perfect utility player he has been all year...

Susquehanna squeezed their way into Districts and will have to play the play in game vs Getteysburg....    Hanna is coming off of a huge win vs LD and they probably played their best game of the year....  and that was without their two top scorers.....  

Look, I know that kids make mistakes, and Sheppard make a big one by not being there for his team vs LD, but as coaches, our job is to help these young men to build character while becoming better ball players....  Kids need to understand that the coach is the head of the team and rules MUST be respected in order for ANY player to be a part of the team....

If Hanna decides to go with the guys that got them there, I think skies the limit....  they will get pass Gettysburg but after that, they will play Trinity...

Hanna lost to Trinity at the buzzer on a questionable call so that game is circled on Hanna's schedule....  I would love to see that match up again....  Only this time, Hanna will have the grit and determination to get the victory.......   They will need a great defensive effort by the inside guys like Brimm, Page and Dunbar in order to slow Trinity down....  The backcourt of Mack, MacAuthor and Proctor will have to outplay Agnew, Defrank and Wesner....   If that game happens, it will be one that we will not want to miss....

So where's my other upset coming from???   If M-Town wins their first game vs Big Spring, I truly believe they have what it takes to beat the top seed Lampeter - Strasburg....  M-Town has all the weapons they need to pull off this upset although they have been playing up and down as of late....

now with teams like Green Castle and Berks Catholic out there, it will be tough for M-Town or McDevitt to go to the finals....  They will have a good shot at making States though....

If Hanna can get past Trinity, they will have a realistic chance at getting to the finals....   Most people will dis agree with me but I'm going out on a limb with that one.....
