Predictions for Wednesdays District games....

Here's a look at how we think the District games will turn out.....

Central Dauphin vs Central York - This game should be a great game for CD because Central York has a little bit of size down low in Spencer Ortmyer....  Devin Thomas usually plays his best against big guys so I expect the same results this game...  Seefelt and company will have to keep Tre Bowman out of the paint as he loves to penetrate....  Don't get it twisted, the kids can shoot the three with accuracy as well....   I still see CD pulling off a 13 point win...

Reading vs Harrisburg -  This game will be jammed packed as no team wants there season to be over this early....   Reading is coming to Harrisburg fired up and ready for revenge as Harrisburg won the first meeting between the two teams....  Harrisburg will have to play their best basketball in order to win this game so that means Sheen McIntyre, Rell Patterson, Steven Stoney and Chris Britton will have to lead the defensive effort for The Cougars....  This game will be all about defense because both teams can score the ball..  Who ever can take care of the ball and hit their free throws in the final 4 minutes can win this game....  Last 4 mins I'm putting the ball in Patterson's hands as he leads Harrisburg to victory sealing the game at the line.....   Harrisburg by 4 points in a tough battle...

Chambersburg vs Hershey -  Hershey has been playing great basketball all season...  Until the end of the season...  That's a little scary if you're a Hershey fan...  you never want to be playing your worse basketball near the playoffs...  Chambersburg has a way of pulling out games that they have good time to prepare for..   I expect this to be one of those games....    Chambersburg upsets Hershey with a 2 point win......


CD East vs Cedar Cliff -   CD East finally got back into the playoffs with the veteran team they have...  They have the personel to go deep into the playoffs but Coach just isn't using the right combination of players....  East still hasn't showed that they can beat the "Elite" teams in the district consistantly so this will be a good game for them to get over the hump...  Cedar Cliff has all the weapons and home court advantage....  Colton Lewis will be tough to defend and Christo Majok is a mis match for every player on East's team...  Except Anthony Wright....  He's the only player versatile enough to defend Majok all over the court....  He should never come out the game unless he's in foul trouble....   If Tony McCraw can shut down Nol Aru and Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan can attack the defense, East can pull it out...  If Cowan just passes around the perimeter, it will be a long day for them...  If he can get into the paint and be the playmaker he really is, East can pull off the upset....    I'm going to say East wins this game by 5 points on the road.....


Susquehanna vs Trinity -  I'm going out on a limb and saying Hanna pulls this one off and shocks the whole Mid Penn....  Most people think Trinity has it due to great coaching and good guard play...  I can see that, but I think Vince Rogers boys are ready to compete on a high level and are the most focused that they've ever been all year....  Led by Jonas Page and Justin McAuthur, Hanna will help Rogers stick around a little longer as he proves even though they had a rough start, the finish is as sweet as candy....  Hanna by 3 points....



M-Town vs Lampeter - Strasburg -  This is going to be a tough game for M-Town as they will have to play an almost perfect game to win....  With a week off from games and the ability to practice, practice, practice, M-Town will be ready for this war....   Expect Diebler to have a big game as he steps up to the level of competition....  M-Town wins by 1 point...
