Emmanuel Baptist advances to the Semi Finals behind Mack's big performance....

While all the other local schools are involved in District playoffs, EBCA has their own thing going on....  They compete in the KCEA tournament for a chance to get their 3rd straight KCEA AA Pennsylvania State Championship....

Yesterday in the quarter final game, EBCA had to travel 2 hours away to a town called Huntingdon to play against Calvary Baptist Academy of Clymer, PA in which both teams knew very little about each other...

Calvary's coach mentioned the only thing he knew was to not play EBCA man to man....   and that he tried....    EBCA jumped out to an early 21 - 7 lead behind Nehemiah Mack and Collin Reeves scoring 16 of the 21 points evenly, hitting from everywhere on the court....

EBCA would not look back from there as they continued to push the tempo and attack the basket at will...  Once Calvary closed up the middle, Mack would then penetrate and dish to guys like Reeves, Tyrece Little and Tim Kile who knocked down the outside shots one after another....

The final score made the game look a little closer than what it was as EBCA went up by 28 points at one time...

Final score was 63 - 46 and EBCA was led by Mack's 28 points and 13 rebs, Collin Reeves chipped in 12 points, 10 rebs and 5 assist, Tim Kile scored 12 points and had 4 steals, Tyrece Little came off the bench with 6 points and 7 steals while Jansen Morrison contributed with 5 points , 5 rebs and a ton of deflections for the game....

Next up is the Semi Finals game at Emmanuel Baptist on Friday at 4:30pm...  If you haven't seen these guys play and you have the time, check it out....

  1. Why don't we have the option of using anonymous anymore? P.s. will you do a McD vs. LS prediction/analysis?
