Here's a look at the top 13 7th graders in the area..... These kids not only show talent on the court, but they have good character off the court, and that's more important....

Elyjah Camp - Harrisburg - This young guard has an old soul and reminds me of Pearl Washington back in his Cuse days... Gets wherever he wants on the court and has great anticipation skills on defense... Played on the freshman team this year...
Tyrece Little - Emmanuel Baptist - Ty is a long and lanky combo guard with energy for days... He's learned how to be an offensive threat to go along with his defensive prowlness..... Tough to handle... Played on the varsity team at EBCA...
Nick Ramsey - Swatara - Big Nick plays the game like a younger Kevin Love... Doesn't jump the highest but finds ways to rebound with the best of them... Capable of scoring 14 - 20 points a game as well...
DeRon Jennings - Linglestown - Jennings is the do it all forward every coach wants on his team... He can slash, defend and is the ultimate team player... Had an excellent season for a very good Linglestown team...
Chris Henderson - Steelton - Chris knows how to play one way only, and that's hard.... He's the type of kid that will miss a shot but still be the first guy back on defense... Rebounds like Sir Charles....
Chris Whitaker - CD East - Whitaker has the heart of a lion and the confidence to go with it.... He is an exceptional floor leader and loves to win.... Strong guard and is only getting stronger...
Noah Spikart - Hershey - This big guy is going to be a stud really soon.... He is big, strong and can finish in the paint... Hershey got a good one here...
Justin Henry - CD East - He may be little but he gets a lot done on the court... Justin has lots of flash and is quick as lightning.... He can shoot the ball from deep and always finds a way to get rebounds as well...
Austin Gilbertson - St. Theresa - I love watching this kid play because he's such a competitor... He can score when needed but would rather get his team mates involved in the game... Going to be a really good player if he can dedicate himself to basketball....
Evan Chandler - CD East - Evan knows how to score the ball... He has the strength of an ox as he bullies his way to the basket.... Relentless on the glass, Chandler loves to get second chance opportunities from crashing the boards....
Jordan Gillis - Swatara - Jordan had a great season for Swatara as he led them in scoring while lighting it up from the perimeter... He attacks the basket strong in transition and his defense is getting better day by day...
Darien Perez - Susquehanna - Darien is a really good athlete who slashes to the basket hard and strong... He knows how to get to the line and his jumper has been more and more consistent...
Aneas Carter - Susquehanna - Super fast with the ball in his hands, this kid doeesn't play around.... the lefty plays in one mode, attack mode and loves to push the tempo....

Cedar Cliff's Grant Breneman can play with any of these kids and I'll guarantee he is stronger than they are.
ReplyDeleteGotta go places to be seen.... Most of the kids on the list go and play in lots of different venues... Not just local.... I'm sure the kid can play, we just never seen him play anywhere...
