YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS ONE.........

Anyone who was just thinking "Is there anything to do on a Monday night besides football?", the answer is YES SIR!!!!

Monday December 19th the Steelton SteamRollers with host the Susquehanna Indians in an out of conference battle between two prominent local programs...

This is something you may want to get to early and when I say early, I'm talking JV GAME.......

Susquehanna JV team is led by Freshman PG Dajour Williams who is playing well beyond his years, combo guard Jahaad Proctor who can fill it up in a hurry from the outside and "do it all" guard Takhi Turner (brother of ex pg Tahj Turner) who is a bulldog of a guard and can defend multiple positions....

Steelton is led by Soph James "Munk" Warren who has gotten about 15 lbs stronger since last year and is playing like a champ, (Just ask McDevitts guards)..... 6'5 soph Jakai Haywood who runs the floor like a deer and is inviting everyone to his "Block Party" in the paint.....  6'3 Freshman  wing forward Jakai Bowman is the best kept secret around and can defenitely earn his way onto the varsity team by mid season with his all around game....

If that wasn't enough for you, no problem, we still have THE VARSITY GAME at 7:30pm......

The hype for this game and atmosphere will be incredible as Jordan Milberry will face his old team for the first time since his departure.  The Milberry vs Gabe Mack matchup will be fun to watch since these guys played together for years in out of town tournaments in NY and NJ with coach Frank Wilson Sr.  Mack has to play to his potential and not be as laid back as he has been.  Milberry won't allow him to be so this could be the game to wake him up.....   Slight Advantage to Steelton!

JC "Ginobli"Brandt vs Justin MacAuther looks like a nice one on paper but Brandt has been tearing up the Mid Penn like no other.  Brandt uses his speed and quickness to the best of his ability and he's hard to cover.  MacAuther has been struggling to get into a rythm but has the ability to get hot at any moment.  Can't afford to be off against Steelton....  Advantage goes to Steelton!

Joe Marshall vs Anthony Ferguson will be a true warrior battle...  Both guys love to bang and attack the glass for second chance points.  Ferg has a year up on Marshall but Marshall has been on fire offensively for Hanna.  This is a tough matchup to call so I'll call it a tie!

Johnas Paige vs Trent Chisolm will be two guys focusing on different aspects of the game.  Chis will be focused on defense and limiting Paiges touches.....  Paige will come off of screens and look for his shot all the time.  He's never been in this type of game before so it's tough to predict how he will respond.  I say he comes out of his shell this game...  Advantage Susquehanna!!!

Shaquan "Shoop" Sheppard vs Brodrick "B-ROD" Settle-Simmons may be a little lop sided because Shoop is a tough load to defend.  He can hurt you in so many ways, inside and outside.  He's doing a good job of playing within the offense and not forcing the issue.  B-Rod is used mainly as a clean up guy and will have to find a way to slow Shoop down....  Advantage Susquehanna!!!!!

The Bench will be a very important piece to this game.  The best bench players for Susquehanna are on the JV team....  Steelton will throw different looks at Hanna but eventually go back to their normal 5 guys.  Advantage Susquehanna!!!

Coaching always plays a huge part in winning a ball game and Vince has done a lot of winning...  Tremayne Hawthorne may be in his first year of coaching but he played on a high level of basketball in college (Drexel) and he's learned from some pretty good local coaches as well.  I'm giving the slight edge on this game to Hawthorne

So who comes out with the victory?????  Steelton by 2 in the final seconds.....  Too much JC Brandt!!!!
