Who's been the most exciting player to watch so far for HS ball?

You guys hear a lot about what I think, let's hear from you!!!!

Who do you just love to watch play?

It's not always the highest scorer.....  It could be the best leader, or defender, or playmaker or 6th man.....    Who ever it is, let's hear from you!

  2. I would say the most exciting to me has been Haiisheen MacIntyre or Devin Thomas.... My theory has always been if you're a D1 player, then get D1 stats.... No excuses!!! 14 - 17 points on mediocre teams are not D1 stats, unless there's 10 assist and 8 rebounds per game to go along with it. If you can get 30 points a night, get it!

  3. what do you think about susquehanna's freshman class in your rankings in 2015

  4. Best freshman class in the area if they can all stay together... By time they're juniors, they can get a District title and go deep in States... I just hope that egos don't get in the way....

  6. What is the difference between them and East High's class of 2015?

  7. The difference is the Hanna kids had the opportunity to be taught the game from better youth coaches. East kids go off of natural ability only... They still have to learn to study the game.... But, Hanna kids need to get better because statistics show that players that enter Susquehanna good, leave out the same way they came in. They don't get better... They shouldn't count on anyone else other than themselves to get their game better...

  10. The difference between East vs. Susquehanna class is....there is none! Susquehanna kids are way more talented...not close! But I will hav to agree with coach lil...kids dont get better at susq...as a matter of fact they regress there...so keep hope alive east high class of 2015..by the time your jrs...you'll prob catch up to those guys if Rogers is still there...has to be one of the worst coaches of all time...at any school!

  11. That's a tough statement on Coach Rogers.... Kids have to do their part also.... He may not be qualified to train kids on what they need to know for the next level, but most coaches in this area aren't. I can say that maybe 5 of them are and 1 of them just retired.... Kids need to go to Hoop Group or 5 star camps, Hard 2 Guard training, ESP training or get with older guys at the YMCA at 7am each day in the summer and train. Bottom line is, don't put your career in the hands of a coach solely!

  12. What 5 coaches do you feel can prepare kids for the next level?

Better yet: top 5 head coaches in the area and top 5 assistant coaches? Or how about top 5 staffs as a whole?

  13. 1.) Harrisburg-the most consistent program in the area.
2.) Trinity-probably a close 2nd to hbg in consistency yr to yr....the best feeder system in area by far!
3.) Chambersburg- I think there staff does a great job of getting the most oiut of the talent he has.
4.) CD-Has done a fairly good job since taking the helm at CD....It doesn't hurt having 6'10" Devin Thomas to lead you also.
5.) Greencastle-I think Gary Martin is one of the most underrated coaches in the area. I think he does an excellent job with his teams. He was totally disrespected at cedar cliff...where he created a competetive atmosphere that Rowe got most of the credit for. He also does a good job putting his teams' in position to win games, even when they're the underdog....evident in last yrs. district win against former coach v. rogers n Susq., without their best player.
