In a showdown of the top two teams in the Susquehanna Township Basketball League, the two teams showed why this game was a must see....
Team Chapman defeated Team Caruso 24 - 23 by a late free throw by Tyrece Little with 11 seconds to seal the victory.....
Team Caruso was led by the top 6th grade pg Casey Caruso whose 15 points and 3 steals wasn't enough to pull out the win.... top 7th grade SG Tyrece Little led Team Chapman with 18 points and 15 rebounds while shooting 8 - 9 from the free throw line.....
Team Caruso had a nice effort by 7th grader Darien Perez (9 points) as he played tough defense and attacked the basket well.
6th Grader Brian Gardner Jr. helped Team Chapman with 4 points and 7 rebounds as well...
Nice start to the season.....

Susquehanna Township league - on weekdays at Thomas Holtzman on weekdays for 5th grade and under/weekends for 6th - 8th graders
Steelton Midget League - Weekends for ages 10 and Under/Weekdays for 13 and Under
East Pennsboro 6th grade travel team has started the season 2 - 0 led by TIM KATER Jr. with a 22.5 ppg, 4 assist and 9.5 rebounds averages so far..
