A Wright to the rescue.......

It doesn't get any better than this....  Two schools that always produce great games had another classic battle....

Steelton and CD East had a few things in common....  Jameel Cooper left East to attend Steelton and Anthony Wright left Steelton to attend East....  Tonights game showed that so far, CD East got the better of the deal as East won a thiller game in overtime 67 - 59....

With CD East leading scorer Reggie Dudley (17 pts) on the bench in the 4th quarter because he hacked a little too much, East had to figure out who to go to.  In comes Wright who is actually just getting back to his old form due to a surgery this summer in which he was told he may not play ball anytime soon....

All Wright did was score 12 points off the bench and give a number of nice post moves and rebounds to help secure the victory....

East had balanced scoring in their 7 man rotation with Dudley 17 pts, Tony McCraw (13 pts), Wright (12 pts), Aris Scott (10 pts, 9 rebs), Siele Johnson (9 pts) and Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan (6 pts, 9 assist, 3 steals).

Steelton was led by lightning quick guard JC Brandt with 16 pts, Jordan "A.I." Milberry (13 pts, 3 steals), Anthony Ferguson and Brodrick Simmons with 8 pts a piece.

Expect the next one to be tight as ever......

  2. Funny thing is East felt the same way... He moved from East to Steelton and then back.... Both teams have a bright future.
