Early Season top underclassmen (Varsity)

These aren't just guys who made the team but who actually get the opportunity to play as well....
There may be other players that are a little better but for one reason or another they haven't gotten the opportunity to prove themselves on the Varsity floor....

Here's a look at some of the top underclassmen playing varsity that I've seen this season......

Nehemiah Mack - (Emmanuel Baptist) 8th grade - Rock Solid guard who can play multiple positions on the floor.  One of the areas leading scorers as an 8th grader..

Joe Marshall - (Susquehanna HS) Freshman - He's been the most consistant freshman in the Mid Penn scoring points and rebounding strong...

Milik Gantz - (McDevitt) Freshman - Milik is a do it all player who is all over the court all the time.  At 6'2 he can see over the defense and create plays for himself and others.

Jordan Milberry - (Steelton) Sophomore - Jordan made a huge impact for this Steelton team as soon as he came.  Not much of a shooter but can score when needed.  Does a good job running his team...

Brodrick Settles-Simmons - (Steelton) Sophomore - Has really extended his game by stepping out and knocking down three pointers to go along with his inside moves.

James Ezel - (Harrisburg) Sophomore - He comes off the bench and gives the Cougars the energy they need to turn it up a notch.  Some compare him to ex Cougar Quincy Roberts...  Not bad!!!

Donte Vaughn - (McDevitt) Sophomore - Came out of no where and jumped into the starting line up.  He's been playing a solid game although he could probably do more.  The kid has good range on his shot but doesn't shoot enough.

Anthony Wright - (CD East) Sophomore - One of the best talents around and with his help, East can be a really solid team.  He will eventually have to do more on the offensive end because he is a matchup problem for most forwards.  He's also too tall for most guards...

Collin Reeves - (Emmanuel Baptist) Sophomore - Reeves is as fast as lightning with the ball and attacks the basket strong.  Having a solid season so far for the Patriots.

Gabe Mack - (Susquehanna) Sophomore - With sr guard Larry Roscoe leaving the team, Mack was pushed into the starting role to run the team.  He plays under control and does a good job getting others involved.

Tyrece Little - (Emmanuel Baptist) 7th grade - He comes off the bench and gives the energy and points....  Has a knack for hitting big shots in close games which is a great experience for one so young...
