CD SMACKS MCDEVITT

I guess it's safe to say football is officially over for these two schools and now it's time to take it to the hardwood.....

CD was extremely happy to see their football players back on the court but unfortunately McDevitt didn't have any football toughness to match as CD eased through this game 75 - 46.  This was never a game as 6'10 Wake Forest recruit Devin Thomas came alive and had a monster game (just as I expected) scoring 26
points and pulling down 25 rebounds playing only 3 quarters for the night....   The rest of CD's scoring was pretty balanced but just having guys like Zayd Issah back makes life easier for Thomas because it cuts down on the triple teams...

McDevitt's best player tonight was sophomore sharp shooter Donte Vaughn who led the way with 13 points knocking down 4 three pointers but probably would have hit more if given the opportunity.  Leading scorer Aaron Devan just couldn't find a rhythm as he only came out with 6 points and hitting 1 three for the game...   Freshman Milik Gantz showed promise but this game was out of hand early....

    I have watched CD basketball the last 3 years and by far they looked composed and unrattled...scarey good!

    Devin has evolved into one heck of a player... I said it before and I'll say it again, Thomas will be a pro one day... He's gotten better every year I've seen him and kids like that have great futures. Most people won't agree with me but time will tell.
