Stevie Jones comes up BIG for PSU - Harrisburg.....

The day after watching PSU - Harrisburg in practice, I began thinking about the old saying "you play how you practice!".....   As I stated before, they were enthusiastic, excited, focused and uplifting so I figured they would play well the next day.....  BINGGGG, I was correct.....

PSU - Harrisburg faced Susquehanna University who they had lost to 71 - 67 in a very tight game from horn to horn on December 10th but this time the results were different....   PSU - Harrisburg came up with a 83 - 75 home victory behind the OUTSTANDING play of Harrisburg HS own Stevie Jones as he lit Susquehanna up for 39 points, 6 assist and 5 steals while defending Susquehanna's top player holding Spenser Spencer to a tough 18 points....

It was a great team win as Jordan Gatchell chipped in 16 points while Amani Glenn (CD East) and Alberto De La Santos (East Penn) both scored 8 points a piece....

Great win PSU-Harrisburg, keep up the great work....

  1. Are they looking at any local kids this year? There are some terrific players this year in the MP.

  2. They are looking at quite a few guys I know of... Diebler from MTown, Reggie Dudley from East to name a few.

  3. Do u believe Reggie Dudley is a D1 player? And who from the class of 2014 and 2015 could go D1?

  4. I believe with Reggie working on his ball handling and decision making, he can play at a smaller Division 1 school. With that being said, why go to a smaller D1 school and sit for a couple of years while your team lose when you can go to a very good division 2 or division 3 school, play right away, have fun and still get a great education. That's what it's all about.... Not NBA!!!!

  5. I can't comment on the class of 2014 and 2015 as far as D1 yet.... There are no sure shots at this moment.... Things could change due to hard work over the spring and summer and there's a kid that we don't even know about that could jump ahead of everyone here.

  6. You're missing a player in the 2015 class who's had some ups and downs in his life, but is now playing for Middletown's freshman team. His name is Ladhellis Charlston and he's a baller on both ends of the court. He can drop 25 a game, but his very quick hands on defense really make him stick out. Tons of steals especially with his left hand. Needs to get some more height in the next year or 2. Should probably be playing varsity if not for some personal problems this year.
