Congrats to Kyler Burke 1000 pt scorer and Coach Archer....

Now, this blog has been for the Harrisburg area players BUT here's an exception....    Pine Grove HS is coached by Harrisburg product David Archer and he's been doing a fantastic job changing the culture of basketball in that area......


Here's a guy who really worked his way up the ladder from being a volunteer middle school coach with me at Harrisburg back in 2003 to working multiple sessions of 5 star basketball camp to assisting at Bishop McDevitt to assisting on the college level to heading his own team at Pine Grove....

All he's done is help give the Pine Grove area something to cheer about by coming 1 game short of winning District 11 championships (25 - 4) last year, final 8 in AA States and made the final 4 the previous year (12 - 12)......

Things are looking good so far this year as Pine Grove has a 5 - 2 record and just defeated Lehigh Valley Christian tonight as sr guard Kyler Burke needed 23 points to reach the 1000 point club as he got 27 points in the win....

Congrats coach Archer and keep it going....  You have lots of us following and supporting you as you seek your first district title and possibly States title...
