Today Central PA will be represented by 5 kids from CentralPABball.com in the Jr. All City Classics at Imhotep Charter in Philly....  This game will feature some of the TOP players not just in the Philly area but also in the COUNTRY....

This is a topic I hear people talk about a whole lot....  "Are HS Coaches responsible for helping kids get into College?"  ...  There's a lot of different opinions on this and we don't know who's right or wrong....

Harrisburg's Jahaad Proctor Commits to HOLY CROSS.....

Proud day for Central PA as one of our BEST young men of Character, Academics and Athletics has made his College choice....  Jahaad Proctor will be attending Holy Cross University after he completes his senior year at Sci Tech HS (Harrisburg School District)....  The two time All State selection can now focus on having the best senior year he can and not worry about where he will end up or trying to impress schools.... 

It also doesn't hurt that his God Brother Anthony Thompson is a freshman pg at Holy Cross this year and they have always dreamed of playing together....  Proud day for the Proctor Family as they now will have 2 Division 1 kids in School with his older sister Sabre Proctor playing at Stony Brook....

Adv Hoops looking good at Spooky Nook...

First off I have to say that the facilities at Spooky Nook are INCREDIBLE!!!!!  Has to be the largest indoor sports complex in the US....   OK, had to get that off my chest... 

Local teams Shine at "The Show" aau tourney...

I had the opportunity to spend the weekend at Steelton HS/Steelton Elementary to watch some of the young guys from the Harrisburg, York and Lancaster area....  I was not disappointed as the future is bright here in Central PA...   The host, Team Supernatural, did a fantastic job putting this event together...  There were teams from 10u all the way up to 17u and these kids competed their hearts out...   There were quite a few teams that really stood out to me in a variety of age groups....  Here's some of the local teams I really liked...

"The Show" is this weekend in Harrisburg, BE THERE....

If you're anywhere in town this weekend, there's a nice local aau event you should defenitely check out....   "The Show", put together by Team Supernatural, will surely be some nice competition and extremely fun to watch....

It's been a process for this group of guys but man o man was it worth it....  Susquehanna Boys Basketball team led by Coach Vince Rogers will be representing Central PA in tonight's AAA Championship game vs Philly's own powerhouse Neuman Goretti....

Big day for District 3 Single and Triple A teams

Today starts the 2nd round of States for Single and Triple A teams and these games are incredibly important for the respect of Central PA basketball....   We have only 1 team left in Single A and that's New Hope Academy Charter School....  The Mighty Ants take on Pius X today at 6pm at Hamburg HS as they look to do something that hasn't been done in school history, make it to the Quarter Finals...

Some people may remember Bud two years ago as an 8th grader at Emmanuel Baptist playing HS Varsity Ball when he finished his last game of the year with a 54 point performance....

Just like I thought, Susquehanna's Nehemiah "Bud" Mack walked away with a District 3 Gold Medal and MVP as a Sophomore...

I have to say that over the years I've always tried to help put kids in positions they would never get on their own...   Sometimes I took kids out of town to NY, NJ, Philly, DC, Ohio, Iowa, etc...  Everything I do is all about the PROCESS....  Kids need to see what's the PROCESS in becoming great, what's the PROCESS in becoming better than what they currently are....
