If you're anywhere in town this weekend, there's a nice local aau event you should defenitely check out.... "The Show", put together by Team Supernatural, will surely be some nice competition and extremely fun to watch....
Some of the matchups we'll see will be in the 5th grade division, Steelton's own Brak Bred 10U and 11U will see one of York City's finest, The York Raiders....
Also in the 7th grade division Brak Bred and United Ballers will look to compete against the York Raiders and York Thunder....
The 8th grade division will be very interesting because in one pool you have Central PA Elite (Green), York Raiders and CUE (Lancaster)... These are 3 very good teams and every game could go either way.... In the other pool, you have Central PA Elite (Black), South Central Select and Taneytown.... SCS is loaded with lots of guard play with Jaylen Hawthorne, Shaquon Butts and Dan Buie... These guys are fun to watch...
The 9th grade division will be very interesting with having Advanced Hoops (Thompson), Team Supernatural and Franklin Force in one pool while The York Raiders, Advanced Hoops (Little 8th grade) and United Ballers will round out the other pool... York Raiders will come with some fire, Advanced Hoops (Thompson) play really well together and Advanced Hoops (Little) has an 8th grade team that has been playing outstanding basketball.... These guys are 15 - 2 so far this season with the two losses being to 9th grade teams....
The 10th grade team looks a little familiar with The York Raiders and Advanced Hoops (Little 9th grade) but also Boys & Girls club NEPA and True Ballers are in town... I'm anticipating the matchup between Advanced Hoops and York Raiders with both teams being fast and physical....
Then the 11th grade division has Advanced Hoops (Yancy), Team Supernatural (10th graders), York Raiders and Spooky Nook.... Advanced Hoops has some really good guard play and I can't wait to see them in action.... York Raiders has a shooter in 6'4 Mike Coleman but AH has quick and strong guards like Kareem Oden and Isaac Ray...
These games are being played at Steelton HS and Steelton Elementary so I'll look to see you there....
