Predictions for todays games 12/19/12

Here's a look at some of the matchups for today's games.....
Cedar Cliff @ McDevitt - This will be a pretty exciting game as the young Colts like to get up and down the floor....  The problem is, McDevitt does the same thing plus they have more experience....   Soph guard Tyler Hoagland has been playing OUTSTANDING for CC so far but he will have his hands full with McD's Justin MacAuthor....   This will be a high scoring game with McDevitt winning by 10 points...

Cumberland Valley @ CD East - This game is very important for both teams....  CV has a very good TEAM meaning there's a multitude of guys who can hurt you on any given day....  Matt Tamonosky, Grey Kline and Tanner Kirkpatrick are a nice tandem......  East is led by Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan who has pushed his scoring up tremendously.....   The kid is averaging 15ppg to go along with 6 assist.....   East has lost their last two games and it doesn't get any easier with Harrisburg on Saturday.....  Cowan's leadership will keep it close but I say CV steals one on the road...  CV by 3 points....

East Pennsboro @ Middletown - This game is needed by both teams in a bad way....   Both teams have a prolific scorer in Trent Zimmerman (M-Town) and Jose Battle (East Penn) but the supporting cast will be key in this game....   I can see both guys putting up some serious numbers and even though Middletown is at home on this one, East Pennsboro knows that they need this game extremely bad if they want to be relavent....   EP wins by 4pts....

Harrisburg @ CD -  Which Harrisburg team will show up tonight????   Harrisburg can be one of the most dominant teams in the State of PA but they can also have you scratching your heads saying "Why are these games so close?"  Soph Jahaad Proctor has been fitting in well with this group of seniors....   He's very efficient from the field as Harrisburg was in need of a shooter badley.....  His ability to knock down shots make it tough for teams to play zones on Harrisburg....   What I'd like to see is guys like Steven Stoney, Shaquan Sheppard and Jerel Patterson step up and play the way everyone know they can play.....  If they come to play, this could be a long night for CD....   Make no mistake, Brian Laird and company will not lay down easy....   This group has been through the fire and has been in some wars already this season...  CD will take what the defense gives them and Harrisburg better not give them open shots....   If they can get a lead going into halftime, this game can be really close....  If Harrisburg's seniors come to play, it could get ugly...   No disrespect to CD but the refs won't allow this game to get too physical, which benefits Harrisburg.....   Made free throws by CD and Missed free throws by Harrisburg keeps it close....  Harrisburg barely wins by 6 points....

Lower Dauphin @ Trinity - LD got a nice win over McDevitt no too long ago but Trinity is on another level....  Trinity has too many guys to run at LD and they are so disciplined it's scary....   I can see Trinity having a great defensive game and winning by 24 points....

Steelton @ Camp Hill - Steelton has been SMASHING the capital division and this game looks like it will be no different....   WAIT A MINUTE!!!  Camp Hill aren't as bad as people think...  They played Milton Hershey very tough, losing by 9 points and MH is one team who really believes they can beat Steelton....   So with that being said, Camp Hill will keep this game close for 3 quarters....   If this young Camp Hill team can grow up tonight, I can see an upset happening....   Steelton may be a little too confident and will have to come focused....  Camp Hill scares Steelton but Steelton wins by 8 points.....

Susquehanna @ Hershey - Hmmmmmmmmm this game used to be a nail bitter with all of the big name players on both teams...  Now Hershey has less big name players but more balance on the team...    Hershey has guys like Tim Gette and John Miller leading the way and big Chase Watkins in the middle is a handful.....    Susquehanna comes undefeated led by Jonas Page, Joe Marshall and Savalas Pope....  They also have a tough 4 guard backcourt of the Mack brothers, Tahki Turner and Jordan Milberry....    These guys know how to play with each other and love doing it as well...  That's the key!!!!   Hershey will give The Hanna all they can handle but in the end, Gabe Mack at the free throw line is automatic.....   Susquehanna by 5 points in a road win....
