In an epic battle today in the finals of the Harrisburg Diocesan Boys Tournament at Trinity High in Camp Hill.......
Harrisburg City Catholic defeated Holy Name of Jesus 39-34 to advance to the 2012 CYO State Grade School Division Tournament starting April 13th.- April.15th.at Alvernia University in Reading,Pa.
It was a tightly contested game that could have went either way even late in the fourth quarter.
HCC was lead in scoring by James Williams 14pts. Joe Headen 11pts. and Manny Piper 9pts.
The hard nose defense and rebounding was lead by Shaneil Johnson and Jaron Scott.
Holy Name was lead by Chad Cortez 12pts.
A big shout out to this talented young team and the season that they've had up to this point, lead by Head Coach- Jaffa Scott, Asst.Coach.- Joe Headen, Asst.Coach- Tommy Fagan.
