Harrisburg and CD get ready for round 4.....

The Harrisburg Cougars are showing everyone that they really aren't just a one man team by picking up a huge win vs Williamsport in overtime on a last second shot by Stanley  Lumpkin....
This game was played without prolific scorer Haiisheen McIntyre and the Cougars handled their business anyway...  Led by the dual of juniors Steven Stoney's 14 points, 13 rebs and 3 steals and Jerel Patterson's 12 points, 4 assist and 6 rebs the Cougars win the game 58 - 57....  Those two may have led in scoring but it was a balanced attack from all over the court from Donald Ralls hitting a big trey, James Ezell slashing to the basket, Dom Lewis and Chris Britton (forced the first overtime with a layup) banging inside or Stanley Lumpkin with his last second shot to win the game....

The Millionaires were led by Isaiah Washington and his 16 points as Williamsport out shot Harrisburg on the line making 22 to Harrisburg's 7....  still couldn't come up with the win...

CD handled Central Bucks West 57 - 47.... that win gave them the rights to redeem themselves vs Harrisburg.....    Zaayd, Nick and Ryan really helped out and took a lot of pressure off of Devin Thomas (19 pts and 17 rebs) tonight....   They are showing more and more that it's not a one man team...

They have what it takes so it should be very interesting.....


Also, a MAJOR CONGRATS go out to Coach David Archer for leading Pine Grove to a 64 - 45 win vs Vaux out of Philly in round 2.....  Vaux has the #1 ranked pg in the State of PA Rasheed Jordan but he wasn't enough to stop Pine Groves Larry Zimmerman as he poured in 42 POINTS to lead his team....

Larry took it personal when his coach showed him how high Jordan was ranked so he wanted to prove that he could play better than him....  Zimmerman scored all types of ways and he did all of this with Jordan defending him....

Next up for Pine Grove is Holy Cross as they upset top ranked Communications Tech so expect another goodie.....
