Hoop Group Philly Top 100 tour October 12th....

The Hoop Group, one of the most prestigious names in Basketball,  will be hosting a Top 100 tour (Philly) on Saturday October 12th in King of Prussia at Competitive Edge Sports... This event is for grades 5th - 9th from 9am - 1pm....   If there's any interest, contact Coach Little for group pricing at coachlittle22@gmail.com ....    This camp has helped to develop some of the well known rising young stars in Central PA such as Devon Moore (Delone Catholic), Jahaad Proctor (Harrisburg 3rd team All State as a soph), Milik Gantz (McDevitt), Bud Mack (Susquehanna HS), Drew Shankweiler (Mechanicsburg, earned his stripes by going at All American Rondae Jefferson) and many more....

Sensational last day of the College Showcase as stars shine....

Last day of he showcase and these guys were HUNGRY...  Did a fantastic job looking for each other and playing unselfishly...  This was a GREAT event put together by Charlie Fortney and his staff and it was all for the kids in the area...  There were as many as 25 College Coaches in the gym at one time and some of these kids will be leaving with an opportunity to play on the next level...  Here's a look at some of the top players for the day...

The 1st week of 4 was a fabulous turnout as some of the top players from the Harrisburg area were in attendance as well as over 25 D2 and D3 coaches...  They had an opportunity to see some nice up and coming talent so hopefully these kids are ready for some phone calls...  Some guys really stood out to me like Zack Galic, Dejour Williams, Aaron Gress, Jahaad Proctor, Dwight Whitlock, Tariq Bennett and Dom Antonelli.....   Here were some of the top players for the day.....

The York Ballers are still at it....

As the 2013 summer aau ball comes to an end for most programs, The York Ballers still have a little bit of gas left in their tank...   Coach Pat McGlynn has assembled a group of guys to keep the competitive ball going at least until team events kick off.....

ADVANCED HOOPS FAB 5 vs 5 is shaping up for 5th - 12th grades....

This is an event you will not want to miss.....  Advanced Hoops is having multiple showcases for almost every grade out there from 5th - 12th....  

Know what you need to Qualify for NCAA College Basketball early...

There's a saying "The difference between success and failure is information!" ....   What you don't know can hurt you, especially when it comes to grades and SAT/ACT scores....

Harrisburg Area kids make Allstars at Hoop Group Skills Camp...

10 kids from the Harrisburg, PA area went to the World Famous Hoop Group Skills Camp in Stroudsburg, PA to get some "old fashion" outdoor skill work....   Most of the kids weren't used to the outdoor conditions because everything is done indoors these days....   Nevertheless, the young men fought through the rough heat, bugs and rigor of the camp....  Here's a breakdown on how the kids performed.....

Young athletes are TOO SPOILED these days!!!!!!

My O my have times changed...  I can remember the days when having an air conditioner was a luxury...  or getting rides from game to game by parents was as rare as finding a $2 Bill.....   Most of the times as kids, we had to find a tree outside and find shade just to keep it cool....
