Advanced Hoops College Showcase week 3 was a hit.....

Another good day at the College Showcase as players are improving and a few new players should up...

Top players for the day were...

James Ezel 6'4 sr (Harrisburg) - Ezel was a beast on the court as no one in the gym could stop him...  He finally played the way he's capable of playing because he can make the game look really easy...  He has a Division athlete body already so if he continues to develop his jumper, he can play Division 1 bball one day...  Everything else is there...

Savalas Pope 6'7 5th year (Susquehanna) - he looks like a GROWN MAN on the court and coaches are loving his build...  Pope is a man child on the court and muscled his way to get basket after basket...

Aaron Gress 6'4 jr (CD) - Gress has always showed athleticism but now he showed a sweet step back jumper...   At one point in a game, he hit three straight pull up three pointers...  Somehow this kid was overlooked but he can be a D1 player one day in my opinion...

Dejour Williams 6'0 jr (Harrisburg) - his time is now and he knows it...  His confidence on the court is unmatched as he feels he can do whatever he wants on the court...  His jumper was on the money and his greatest attribute is he leads...

Jordan Dockens 6'4 sr (Carlisle) - The high riser was in the building today...  Every time Dockens attack the basket, the fans were in Awe...  He can finish well and even handled the ball much better than the past...  Looks like he's working on the pull up jumper now as well...

Jaki Bowman 6'4 jr (Steelton) - Jaki has all the tools...  He can do a little bit of everything on the court...  He just looks like he loves to play the game...  His pull up jumper was money, plus he can handle the pill like a guard...

Drew Shankweiler 6'7 sr (Mechanicsburg) - I like this kid more and more each time I see him...  He understands the game of basketball and has a really high IQ...  He can hurt you from the inside or outside too....

Zack Galic 6'7 sr (Cedar Cliff)- as I said before, Galic is a really good athlete and becoming a really good player...  Galic scored in bunches while showing he can consistently hit the 15 footer...

Sam Light 5'9 sr (Northern Lebanon) - the kid is crafty with that basketball...  Sam can score the ball but he's becoming more of a playmaker now...  He could be a really good Division 2 PSAC player....

Andrew Eudy 6'7 sr (Cedar Crest) - played really big today attacking the glass and finishing in the paint...  Nice player...

Luke Rutledge 5'7 sr (Lower Dauphin) - this little guy found his touch on the offensive end today...  A terror on defense but showed a nice pull up jumper...

A few other notable seniors were....  Tariq Bennett (Milton Hershey), Rameik Chapman (Susquehanna), Jermari Murphy (New Hope Charter), and Kareem Oden (New Hope Charter)

Top Underclassmen today other than Gress, Williams and Bowman were...

Dwight Whitlock 6'3 jr CD East - one of the best athletes in this area now...  Plays above the rim and can shoot it...

Yusef Lewis 5'10 jr Harrisburg - flashy pg who had the greatest court vision in the gym...  He can fill up the stat sheet with assist so guys will love playing with him this year...

Montrel Morgan 6'1 soph New Hope Charter - hit pull up jumper after jumper and attacked the basket hard...  As he continues to get stronger, he'll start finishing above the rim...

CJ Boxley 5'10 jr York Suburban - Crafty pg with the ball and got into the lane at will...  Even hit a few jumpers and played excellent defense...

Tyrece Little 6'0 freshman New Hope Charter - was very active on the court on both ends but used his strength to make the offense fell a little uncomfortable...  Some of the older guys got bullied at times...  Has to keep working on his outside shot to be a better all around player...
