AWright, Schenkweiler and Light shines at College showcase

Day 2 at the Advance Hoops College Showcase is in the bag as a few guys had incredible performances...  Here are a few of the guys who made a splash...

CJ Boxley (York Suburban) 5'10 pg jr. - this lightning quick pg has moves for days as he found his way to the basket time and time again...

Anthony Wright (CD East) 6'6 guard sr. - clearly was the best prospect in the gym as he played inside out and did it efficiently...  With a year of Prep, he can be a high major player...  Very high IQ on the court...

Drew Shankweiler (Mechanicsburg) 6'7 forward sr. - one word "Unstoppable"...  This kid did whatever he wanted to...  With 15lbs of more muscle, he looks really good...  He hasn't even reached his full potential yet...  Scary...

Zack Galic (Cedar Cliff) 6'7 forward sr. - he's a freak athlete who finishes well around the basket with either hand...  Once he realize how good he can be, skies the limit...

Jaki Bowman (Steelton) 6'4 2G jr. - Bowman is a fine athlete who can hit shots too...  When he gets going, he can catch fire...  He did a good job attacking the basket strong...

Sam Light (Northern Lebanon) 5'10 pg sr. - this kid is so smooth with the ball...  Did a great job finding his teammates all night and creating shots for himself... Sam is a scholarship player in my opinion...  Hope someone else realizes this.

Tommy Bowen (Lower Dauphin) 6'5 forward jr - Bowen is a bruiser in the paint and finished really well...  Looking at his shoe size (16), he may not be done growing...

Dwight Whitlock (CD East) 6'3 guard jr. - He's getting better and better each time I see him...  Handles the ball well, attacks the basket strong plus he can hit the jumper...

Aaron Gress (Central Dauphin) 6'4 guard jr. - All I can say is WOW...  Watching this kid play is fun...  He has incredible athleticism and can hit the pull up jumper...

There were other players who game has looked better this week like 6'3 Wingman Nagus Griggs from New Hope...  Very athletic and plays with a high motor......  I also thought that CD East jr. Derrick Brmmey played with a lot of passion and energy....  The kid never stops moving....

Looking forward to next week as more players are showing up as well as coaches....

Players should remember that todays Division 2 and 3 coaches are tomorrow's Division 1 coaches....   Never look down on an event with coaches in attendance because you could be missing an opportunity....
