Some Mid Penn Schools add more players while others lose out....

With the summer months underway, teams are getting ready to move up the younger guys and get them accustomed to what the Varsity team does...  They will also need the help of the vets on the team......  Unfortunately, some teams lost really good vets to local schools.....
I think the team that took the biggest hit this year was Susquehanna HS....  This is a very talented school district in every aspect but now losing 4 varsity players with two of them being starters, is a BIG hit...

Leading scorer Shaquan "Shoop" Sheppard hasn't been around the team as he's been a little more focused on Maturing as a person and performing well with aau.....  There's a chance he won't be returning to the school but time will tell....

Shooting guard Justin MacAuthor and his family decided to put him in a smaller learning environment as he's enrolled in McDevitt now....  He helps that team out in a big way because he's a legit perimeter threat that can play both guard positions....  He'll be a 14ppg scorer in that system, if not more....

Rising Soph's Jahaad Proctor and Dejour Williams have decided to take their athletic and academic talents to Harrisburg's Sci Tech HS....  Proctor who is a 4.0 student through his first year will be looking forward to the rigorous curriculum at Sci Tech as will Williams who carries a 3.2 GPA.....  These are two of the most talented young guys in the area and they'll play JV at Harrisburg but should also have a chance to dress and play Varsity....  Proctor may get a sooner shot at it being that he consistently hit shot from the outside and plays with a very high IQ....  Williams has a more difficult job to learn, the point guard position for Harrisburg....  He's going to have to wait his turn but try his best to learn as much as he can....  Playing behind Jerell Patterson and Jamaal Carter isn't a bad thing at all....

Red Land took a blow losing Dominick Antenelli to Trinity as well.....  Antenelli is a very good guard and was a two year starter for Red Land....  His leadership and toughness will be missed big time....

Emmanuel Baptist lost it's top scorer Nehemiah "Bud" Mack to Susquehanna....  Mack was an 8th grader averaging 20 ppg for EBCA Varsity team...  With MacAuthor leaving, Mack should be able a slide into a starting role along side his brother Gabe Mack....  with Mack leaving EBCA, that leaves a lot of question marks as to where the major offense will come from....  Only time will tell!!!!
