If you're in town this weekend, you won't want to miss some great youth basketball here in the Harrisburg area..... Lots of local teams such as Children Changing Communities (CCC), Brak Bred, Capital Elite, Central Penn Ballers, Advance Hoops, Team Supernatural, Rutherford Elite and more will be competing against teams from Philly, Maryland, Connecticut, Delaware and a few other States.....
I will be covering as many games as possible and posting detail about some of the top players from the tournament this weekend.....
Friday at CD East Middle a pair of local teams match up against each other of the 13U level... Brak Bred will play Capital Elite... The backcourt of Austin Gilbertson, Tyrece Little and Moody Thomas will match up with Casey Caruso, Aneas Carter and Darien Perez.... Not to mention the inside battle between Chris Henderson and Sam Allen....
Also at 6pm on the other court you can see CCC vs Rutherford Elite.... Elyjah Camp, Brian Hall and Ahmir Wright take on Christopher Whitaker, Nick Ramsey and Evan Chandler.... Can't forget the smaller players on the court that do damage like Jordan Gillis and Justin Henry going against Tito Fleminster and Stevie Coble....
Brak Bred 12U team will face some tough competition but should be ready to go... They are coming off of a 2nd place tourney to Wall 2 Wall who is ranked #6 on the East Coast for 12U aau.... Guys like Deion Pacman Patterson, Jaylen Hawthorne, Brian Gardner, Yahmir Wilkerson, Shawn Goode, and Shakell Shepard are among the few guys that lead the charge for them...
Central Penn Ballers 17U will be looking to get another gold as Jerel Patterson, Dom Lewis, Chris Britton, Shoop Shepard and the crew turn it up a notch.... This group is fun to watch as they've been playing together for the past 5 years now....
Advance Hoops has an 11U team that can compete with the best of them.... Gerald Jarmon, Tyreese Smith and Keyian Bullock will look to protect their backyard against some tough teams from the outside...
Also, if you haven't seen CPB 16U team, you don't want to miss this weekend... High flying Josh Trumpy has been dunking on the best of them while Justin MacAuther, Dom Antenelli, Anthony Wright and James Ezell are slashing, scrapping, shooting and slicing through defenders....
