Harrisburg area Top Players in Class of 2018....

Here's a look at the top players in the class of 2018...

Class of 2018
Tim Kater (East Penn MS) - Very energetic inside/outside guy. He can hurt teams in a variety of ways making him very difficult to defend.
He played against older players all summer which really increased his perimeter play. He has to recognize when to go inside and when to go outside.

Casey Caruso (Emmanuel Baptist) - Casey is a crafty pg who can score in bunches. He can find the open guy when he penetrates the lane as well. Hits the three ball with high accuracy. Has to get stronger which will one day allow him to compete at a very high level.

Jalen Hawthorne (Swatara MS) - Younger brother of the 2000 pt scorer Tramayne, I can see Jalen doing the same one day. He understands how to play the game at such a young age. He can shoot the ball very well and has very good court vision.

Shaquan Butts (Nativity School) - Shaquan is a flat out shooter. When he gets hot, it's hard to stop him. Needs to defend better.

Tyare Butler (Harrisburg Marshall School) - Ty is a 5'10 200lb beast inside. He can finish over bigger defenders because he uses his body so well.

Stevie Coble ( Harrisburg Rowland School) - Stevie is a very tough guard to defend. His quickness can overwhelm the defenders and he has a nice floater to go along with it.

Zack Kuntz (Good Shepard) - Zack is very athletic and can really block shots well. Will need to work on his offensive game.

Danny Buie Jr. (Holy Name) - Basketball runs in his bloodlines and when you see him play, you can tell.  Son of Harrisburg legend Dan Buie and brother of ex-PSU star Taylor Battle, this kid has all the tools to be the next great one.  He can push the ball, dish, shoot, you name it.  He's just getting adjusted to the area but will soon make a big name for himself.
