Harrisburg area top players class of 2016

Here's a look at some of the top players in the 2016 class......

Class of 2016
Nehemiah "Bud" Mack (Emmanuel Baptist) - Bud is a 6'0 185 lb strong pg who imposses his will on his defender. This kid has incredible speed and just understands the game as well as any player in the area. He's one of the top 5 8th graders in the State of PA and should have a supurb year at Emmanuel Baptist as their Varsity starting PG as an 8th grader.

AJ Perez (CD MS) - AJ is a handful for any player.
This kid just knows how to play basketball and he makes it look so easy. Most coaches will play him inside but he can take his guy from the perimeter as well. He will be a stud in the future.

Jahaad Neibauer (Swatara MS) - He is the most active defensively out of this bunch. The lefty can zoom up and down the court creating plays for himself and others.

Ahkee Cowan (Swatara MS) - Very tough on the ball defender and can score in bunches. Game is very different than his older brother Eddie because Ahkee will attack the defense from every angle. Small but don't sleep, he will burn you.

JaRon Grayer (Steelton MS) - JaRon is a flat out scorer and will make sure he gets the job done. Very hard to handle him in transition because of his ability to drive and shoot.

Jabari Tate ( Steelton MS) - Extremely smart pg who looks to make plays for others all the time. Once he's in the half court set, he is very crafty with the ball. Will have to get stronger and faster so he can compete at a very high level one day.

JoJo Headen (Holy Name) - Excellent shooter spotting up and has a very high IQ for the game. Son of a football coach, you would have thought his dad was a basketball coach looking at his knowledge of the game. Tough to defend from all angles of the court.

Manny Piper (Harrisburg Cathedral) - This kid can shoot the ball from all over the gym. Very crafty around the basket with his finish moves. Needs to work on his defense if he ever wants to be the player most think he can be.

Genero Rivera (Susquehanna) -  This little guy is flashy but gets the job done.  He's loves to penetrate and dish but can also hit the outside shot.  Once he decides to dedicate himself to the game, skies the limit.

Ben Walker (Susquehanna) - Ben is a lefty who just keeps getting better.  Had a rough summer with a wrist injury but he was playing at a high level before hand.  Expect a big year from Ben on the 8th grade team.
