Harrisburg Area top players in Class of 2015...

Here's a look at some of the top players in the class of 2015......

Class of 2015
Joe Marshall (Susquehanna HS) - As you can see, Susquehanna is loaded with talent. This kid may be a Division 1 player once he believes that he already is the best player on the court. Standing at 6'3 with a nice athletic build, he's a terror on the wing and goes 110% in the paint. Never complains about anything, he just puts on his hard hat and goes to work.

Malik Gantz (Bishop McDevitt) - Malik's time is NOW.
This kid is the most versatile player in this class. Standing at 6'3, this kid is a pg who can play multiple positions. Will be used more as a point forward this year but expect huge things out of him as he gets adjusted to the varsity game. He makes other players better.

Joe Lemelle (CD East HS) - Joe is a bulldog of a guard. He finds the holes on the court and attacks harder than any other player. He can also shoot the jumper but he doesn't settle for it. Does a great job creating contact and getting to the line.

Jahaad Proctor (Susquehanna HS) - Jahaad is an outstanding shooter and kids with his accuracy don't come around too often. He takes full advantage of what the defense gives him. He's a nice all around player and once he continues to work on his defense, it will be difficult to keep him off the varsity floor.

Dejour Williams (Susquehanna HS) - Dejour is a very good penetrater and he's hard to keep out of the paint. he can shoot the ball from the outside consistantly as well.

Jakai Bowman (Steelton HS) - Standing at 6'4 and still growing, this kid has a huge upside. He can run the floor like a guard and can put the ball on the floor well enough to create his own shot. He should really help Steelton out this year with his length.

DeShawn Franklin (Harrisburg HS) - Deshawn is a very athletic player who plays extremely hard around the basket.  He can step out and hit the three as well as drive from the perimeter.

Frank " Face " Wilson (McDevitt) - This young guy known as "Face"  plays the game with a high level of intellegence.  He's always looking to make a play for other team mates.  He needs to look for his shot a little more often which will help free up his assist game.

Matt Dawson (Susquehanna HS) - Matt is the Bill Russell of this group when we talk about defense.  He does a great job of blocking shots and keeping the ball in play.  He goes after every rebound within his range as well.  Still needs to work on his offensive game.

Dwight "Buddy" Whitlock (CD East) - This kid just keeps getting better and better as the years go by.  He was once a role player but is now budding into a star player.  Buddy can play 3 different positions from the 1 to the 3 and loves to defend.  He should get a little varsity time this year as well.

Quentin Smith (CD East) - Quentin is a super athlete with incredible springs.  The lefty plays tough in the paint and because he's a lefty, he will catch his defender off guard with his variety of moves.  Still needs to improve on his outside shot but he could be a kid who can help CD East over the next 4 years.
