Predictions for Tuesday 1/15/13.....

Let's see how these games break down for Tuesday....

Lower Dauphin @ McDevitt -  This game has some meaning to it as Lower Dauphin has surprised everyone through the first half of the season....  Sitting in 2nd place in a tough Keystone division with a 6-3 record, LD is playing some good basketball....   McDevitt (5-4) on the other hand was expected to be a little higher up, but that could change with a victory tomorrow...   Dyllon will have to bring his game this time because top players can't afford to have minimal contributions for their team...  He's too talented to perform again the way he did against Susquehanna.....  The "X" factor for McDevitt is combo guard Donte Vaughn....  Donte can not get caught up in just being a shooter...  He has to do more things consistently like rebound, defend, be a playmaker and energize his team.....   This is a key game for both teams but I see McDevitt pulling it out by 11 points...

Harrisburg @ Cumberland Valley -  This game will be on Television if you have Verizon or Comcast....  Harrisburg (8-0 in conf play) is ON A ROLL....  They did some experimenting early on but now they seem to have a consistent rotation...  With that being said, their BEST All Around player Steven Stoney comes off the bench!!!!   The scary thing is, HE'S SUCH A TEAM PLAYER THAT HE ACCEPTS HIS NEW ROLE....  Gotta love that as a coach....  CV at 4 - 4 need this game in a big way, but this will be a tough one...  CV will need to limit the turnovers and try their best to slow the tempo of the game down...  There's no way they can run with these Cougars, they have 13 guys to use and they ALL CAN PLAY!!!  Shoop, Stoney, Britton, Dom and Ezell will handle the inside while Rell, Jahaadi, Mally, Don Ralls, Dejour and Ashton will harass guys on the perimeter....  Should be a fun game to play and watch if you like to see up and down basketball....  If the officials allow Both teams to "PLAY BASKETBALL", Harrisburg could win by 30 pts, If the game is called tight, Harrisburg wins by 16 pts.....

Steelton @ Susquenita - This will be a game where everyone will get an opportunity to play....  We have two teams with reciprocal records in the conference (If you aren't sure, look up the word RECIPROCAL)Expect Steelton to apply serious pressure from the very start of the game to build a huge lead...  Mark Perry and Daequan Fleming lead the way but guys like Mikol Jenkins and Jaki Bowman have been stepping up lately....   Steelton is on a roll and wins this one by 26 points....  P.S. Rameik goes crazy and hits at least 4 threes today.....   lol

Emmanuel Baptist @ Carlisle Christian - Last game EBCA pressured CC and they could not handle it...  I really don't see it being much different....  The ball pressure by Tyrece Little, Kareem Oden and Tim Kile has been tough for most teams....  It's in the paint where EBCA is getting killed...  They shouldn't have that problem tomorrow...  EBCA by 26points....

Susquehanna @ Cedar Cliff - In a rebuilding year for Cedar Cliff, I expect them to fight from beginning to end....  The issue they will face is Susquehanna has too many more fighters than they do....  Hanna will pound the ball inside to Top jr. Center Savalas Pope and top soph wing guy Joe Marshall in the beginning...  After that, expect Jonas Page, the Mack Brothers plus Takhi and Jordan to put in work...  Cedar Cliff will keep it interesting for the first half behind the steady play of soph pg Tyler Hoagland and the inside play of Zach Galic and Derrick Ford....  But their youth will show and Hanna will begin to pull away....   Hanna by 14 points....

State College @ CD East - Very important game for CD East as they are on the verge of sinking lower and lower in the Commonwealth standings...  They are playing a very well coached and very good State College team that only has 1 loss in the division, and that's too Harrisburg....  This will be tough for East to win because this team is struggling with identity....  Who is going to be the guy to take charge of this team?  We know that Eddie "Always Steady" Cowan will run the show during the game as he can get anywhere he desires on the court.....   Who is willing be that consistent offensive monster that East need so bad....  Siele Johnson has picked up his offense but they need AWright to do a little more scoring and rebounding....   Not sure if they're ready yet so I'm taking State College by 5 points....

Mechanicsburg @ Red Land - OK so Red Land is sitting at 0 - 9 right now and most people aren't taking them seriously....   I have a feeling that these kids are tired of this and they come out, in front of their home crowd, FIRED UP.....   Mechanicsburg has  been up and down so if they are looking past this game, they could let it slip away....   All of these guys know each other and I think it's time for freshman Morgon Keiser to let it all out and not hold back....  He's a great talent along with Jacqueze McBride, Anthony Bryant, Tyler Zeiders and Shane Henson....   Can they stop Zach Brunner inside that paint?  He's a handful for sure....   I'm stepping out on a limb and saying Red Land pulls this one out by 7 points.......    Shock The World!!!!

  2. LD not bad for a team getting no respect and being picked second to last in Keystone. Not saying they are trinity or hanna, but not bad since they are home grown and have no transfers.

  4. LD really isn't that good. Just have muscle that Dyllon isn't able to handle. McD much more talented

    1. Don't know how 11-4 is not "that good"? Especially in the conference they are in. They will get beat a few more games, but they are going to surprise a few people.
