Game of the Day: Trinity @ Susquehanna

Something new we're looking to start is having the game of the day....   Today's game is the HIGHLY ANTICIPATED match up between two of the HEAVYWEIGHTS in the State, Trinity and Susquehanna...

These two teams have been waiting for this game just as bad as the fans, students, parents and College Coaches....

Trinity comes into this game with an overall record of 9 - 2 and a conference record of 5 - 2....  Hanna is sitting on a 10 - 1 overall record and 6 - 1 in the conference....  If Susquehanna can win this game, they will maintain sole possession of first place in the Keystone....  Should Trinity steal this game on the road, they will be tied for first with Hanna......

Susquehanna need this game in a big way because their next game is against McDevitt....   McDevitt is on a roll and is much improved from the first time these two teams met....  If Susquehanna fall to Trinity tonight and then lose to McDevitt, Hanna could go from 1st to 4th within the same week should Palmyra continue to win....   THE KEYSTONE IS CRAZY THIS YEAR!!!!!!

But, back to this game.....  We have some tough match ups going on here....  First off, Trinity will use their 3 guard line up of Dylan DeFrank, Brad Wesner and Dom Antonelli to compete with the " 3 HEADED MONSTER" of Gabe Mack, Bud Mack and Jonas Page.....   The biggest difference is Hanna still has Jordan Millberry and Tahki Turner coming off the bench at the guard positions....  Trinity has Jay Agnew to help relieve one of the three starters so it can be very interesting tonight....

Maybe the most intriguing match ups will be Josh Trumpy going up against Joe Marshall...  These two guys are relentless on the glass and love the contact...

Susquehanna may want to use wide body Savalas Pope a little more this game...  They will need his inside presence against Trumpy and Brandon Kuntz.....

I want to see which back court will prevail tonight...  Trinity's back court is a little more experienced but Freshman pg Bud Mack has been really stepping his game up and seems to be more comfortable with his new team.....

Emmanuel Baptist was a great opportunity for him to learn how to run a team and be more aggressive as a scorer...  Once this kid realizes that he can still attack guys the same way he did last year, his scoring will increase toward the 20 point range when needed....

This game may go down to the wire but I can see Trinity finding a way to steal one on the road....  Susquehanna is very good but if they begin to believe the hype that's going on around the area and on social media, it could cause a distraction....   From what I've seen, they have been handling it very well....

My pick today is Trinity by 3 points in overtime as a very important player for Susquehanna gets into foul trouble early!!!!!
