Susq TWP's Jonas Page signs with Florida International.....

Glad to see that another young guy from the Harrisburg area is living their dream....  6'6 shooting guard Jonas Page from Susquehanna TWP HS has agreed to take his talents to Division 1 Florida International in the Fall.....   This is a big deal for him and his family because he has always had the talent but Central PA really lacks the proper exposure for kids to get looked at by bigger schools....   Page is Coach Vince Rogers 1st Division 1 signee and with the talent in that school district, we may see more in the future....

I said in the beginning of the year that Page was a Division 1 talent and not many people believed me.....   Something people these days have to understand is that when a kid has the measurables and a sweet touch, they don 't have to average 20ppg to get a chance to play on a higher level.....    Teams are looking for multi talented kids these days because they understand that the chances of a freshman coming into College and scoring 20ppg is very rare....  But it is possible for a freshman to give them 7ppg, 5rebs, 3 assist and 2 steals...  Those stats will keep a kid on the floor because they can contribute in many ways....   Page has the ability to be that type of player, it's now up to Coach Evans (Who by the way did a GREAT job at Norfolk State, ask MISSOURI) and his staff to develop him....

We at www.centralpabball.com wish you many blessings and represent the area well young man.....

Coach Little
