Jahaad Proctor All-State???? Time will tell......

The class of 2015 in the Central PA area just might be one of the best that we've seen in a very long time....    Most coaches in the area have to depend heavily on their juniors and seniors but quiet as kept, the SOPHOMORES have been stepping it up in a BIG WAY......

We have a very talented group of players in this sophomore class who collectively, can play with anyone in the country....   Guys like Milik Gantz who is a 6'4 smooth as silk pg out of Bishop McDevitt (walking triple double)...  You also have Devon Moore who is a 6'3 combo guard who can flat out play and light it up from Delone Catholic....  You have a 6'4 sharp shooter in Jaki "Zully" Bowman out of Steelton who is now dunking on his defenders plus 6'4 wing man Joe Marshall from Susquehanna HS who is as tough as nails from 15 feet in.....  You have little talked about Ty Gibson out of Reading HS who is a 6'4 wing guy with a Division 1 body already.... or how about Isaac Ray from Northern Lebanon who is lights out from the 3 point line.....

Just when you thought I was done, here comes lightning quick pg Dejour Williams out of Harrisburg who will be running the show for the next two years on one of the top teams in the State of PA....  Quintyn Ward out of Susquehanna HS is a 6'6 late bloomer who is a fierce competitor....   Ten out of no where you get guys like Steelton's 6'1 slashing combo guard Dee'Quan Fleming who just knows how to score the ball....    CD East has 6'3 emerging star Dwight "Buddy" Whitlock who has become a really good inside/outside player and is playing above the rim.....  Also Tyler Hoagland from Cedar Cliff who is the typical pass first type of pg who loves to set up his teammates......  York HS has 6'4 jumping jack Jahaire Wilson who has a 35 inch vertical leap...  scary thing is he doesn't even work on it yet....

Then of course I can't leave out the new comer of the year, Harrisburg's 6'2 sophomore Jahaad Proctor....   This young man joined a senior loaded team and quickly became one of the go to guys to help lead them to a Mid Penn title, a District 3 title and then to the Quarter Finals in the State Tournament...    Proctor was the missing piece that Harrisburg needed, A SHOOTER!!!!  At first he seemed like he was just a shooter, but then, he began to show other areas of his game....  He was asked to defend some of the top guards on other teams, was asked to run the offense at times and was also asked to be a leader....  That's very rare in a program such as Harrisburg's because they are always top heavy and never really need a sophomore to contribute as much as Proctor was asked to....   What's the end result, so far he has 2 SCHOLARSHIP offers from Radford University and University of Penn....   The scary thing is the kid still has TWO MORE YEARS TO PLAY!!!!!!   With Jahaad having a 4.1 GPA at one of the Top High schools in the area (Sci Tech, check the stats on them), after he take the S.A.T. this year, I can see a plethora of schools knocking down his door...  With the type of year he had, Hwe would get my vote and be the FIRST SOPHOMORE under the Kirk Smallwood era to be an ALL STATE SELECTION.....  This kid is the real deal....

Hey, time will tell about this group of guys but I'm willing to bet since they are all GREAT STUDENTS, they should all have a very good chance at playing on a higher level after HS.....

There's a bunch of guys I'm missing on this list but I'm sure in due time, each kid will have their own shining moment....
