If you know anything about Centralpabball.com, you know that a little bad weather never slow us down.... We were able to connect with runhouse.net to present the MLK Classics at Imhotep Charter HS once again... This event usually draws some of the top middle school players in the Philly while CentralPABBall.com normally bring out some of the top players from the Harrisburg area as well.... For all fans in attendance, no one was disappointed as each team put on a show of their own.... CentralPABBall.com took on the Philly Trailblazers in the 1st game and won that game 55 - 34. It was a great team effort as each player contributed in their own way... The 2nd game was against The Philly Saints, who prevailed 62 - 47 ... Here is a breakdown on how each player performed....

Gerald Jarmon III 2019 lead guard Susquehanna - The strong body combo guard played with a chip on his shoulder the entire morning. Did a great job of working angles on the floor and using it to attack the defense.
Great at creating plays for himself and has really good anticipation skills on defense. When he begins to work as hard on defense like he does offense, he could be a top 100 player in the country for 2019 Class.... He's that good with the ball in his hands... Won the Game MVP in game 1 with 17pts, 7rebs, 4 steals and 1 blk...
Ali Anthony 2019 combo guard Harrisburg - Anthony is an Elite defender who loves to hound the ball...
He may have had the most steals in the two games but he is also very unselfish and loves to create scoring opportunities for others... He has a sweet stroke from 3 and loves to attack the defense as well... Best game was his 1st game with 9pts, 7 steals and 6 assist....
Tyreese Smith 2019 Wing Forward Susquehanna - Smith played huge today as he was a monster from 15 feet in.... When he touched the ball, he either scored or got fouled...
He was very consistent today playing against a few 6'5 big guys or even defending taller guards at times... Standing at 6'2 already, Smith posses the quickness, skill and has a very high motor which is great.... When he can consistently take the pull up jumper, he's going to be really hard to stop.... Best game may have been the 2nd game where he had 13pts, 13rebs, 3blks and 2 steals....
Tamel Little 2020 wing forward Susquehanna - This was a great experience for Little, being the youngest on the team... Showed a lot of heart as he banged with bigger players and never hurt his team...
Showed that although he's still new to playing organized basketball, he handled the ball well and rebounded with the Tall Trees... Best game for him was the 2nd game with 5rebs, 2 steals and 1 block....
Don Don Medina 2019 lead guard CD East - If you haven't seen him play yet, get your tickets soon... This kid is The reincarnation of Mugsy Bouges and can flat out play...
Standing at 4'9 he went to work on both teams on both ends of the floor... To make it even sweeter, he took home the game MVP FOR THE 2nd GAME with 11pts, 4assist, 4steals and was easily a crowd favorite.... As he gets stronger and more experienced, He's going to be a problem in HS basketball. ...
Jordan Mccraw 2019 shooting guard Susquehanna - Jordan has a knack for scoring the ball.... He's a dead eye shooter who can not be left alone. ...
He took a little while to warm up, but when he did, he ended up scoring 8 straight points at one time.... Did a great job of making the defense get out of position using ball fakes and shot fakes.... Now he has to use that same offensive aggression on defense and his game will go to a new level.... Fun to watch with the ball in his hands... Best game was the 2nd game with 15pts, 2 steals and 2 assist...
Nick Embleton 2019 shooting guard East Pennsboro - This young man right here is one of the purest shooters in this class... Embleton was on fire today and is not bashful at all....
Moved very well without the ball which also allowed him to get easy layups.... He has excellent height and length for a guard and as he gets stronger and more confident in his ball handling, he can end up being one of the best players in Central PA.... Best game was the 1st as he scored 14pts while hitting 4 treys....
Will Bowen 2019 Power Forward Lower Dauphin - Bowen didn't get an opportunity to play as much because he was stuck in a serious accident on his way to Philly.... He missed the 1st game and arrived at the 2nd game with 10 mins left to play....
With that being said, he still managed to score 6 points and pull down 4 rebounds.... It would have been great to see him and his 6'4 frame match up again st some of The Philly Trailblazers or Saints Big guys....
