South Central Select 13U Girls win Keyston Gold.....

Coach Frank Royer and his 13U girls decided to participate in this past weekend's Keystone State Games. Though it has been over a month since their last tournament, the girls shook off their rust and quickly came together for a fantastic weekend of basketball......

The weekend started with pool play games, and in game 1, SCS had a smooth defeat of Rock Solid, 56-24. In the second game of the day, the girls stumbled and fell to PA Pride, 37-23. The squad didn't let the setback bother them, as they came out for Sunday's playoff games (playing with only six players as well) and made quick work of PA Thunder in the quarterfinals, winning 59-32. In the semi-finals, the girls' continued their winning ways and defeated Advanced Hoops, 43-31. And to cap off the Keystone State Games tournament, Coach Royer and the girls' captured the championship by defeating Lancaster Wave, 32-31, in a thriller.

Congrats to the girls on a great finish to the year!! Below is a picture of the victors!
