After putting in years of hard work, Ex Emmanuel Baptist and This years District 3 A MVP from New Hope, Kareem Oden has decided to attend Lewis & Clark CC in Godfrey, IL....
Kareem was able to get this opportunity through hard work on his part and with the help of Philly's own Rasool Haaj and his Unsigned Senior Showcase that was held at Ihmotep Charter a few months ago....
Not bad for a kid with only two years of organized basketball under his belt as he took over in the District Playoffs averaging 20.5ppg, 6rebs and 6.8 steals in route to a District 3A Title and MVP Honors.... Because Oden is considered a QUALIFIER (He has a 3.3 GPA and 900 SAT Score Math/Verbal) he is only obligated to stay for one year....
Oden came to PA by way of Queens, NY and took full advantage of what Central PA had to offer... Congrats young man and keep moving forward in life....
