Susquehanna gets another District Gold...

Congrats go out to The Susquehanna Indians for winning the District 3 Gold Medals for 2014...   They did a great job of scheduling competitive games just to get their players ready for this time of the season...

Playing teams like Ihmotep and Abington Heights earlier this year along with a grueling Keystone Conference schedule, these guys were prepared....

Gotta give Coach Vince Rogers his props for putting together solid game plans and getting his team to execute the plans....   The Mack Brothers, Gabe and Nehemiah, have led this team the way good guards do....

The younger brother Nehemiah's stock has risen BIG TIME....  I still say he may be the most under rated guard in PA but he will be an ALL STATE PLAYER THIS YEAR....  Only a Soph, he has put The Indians on his back at times and willed them to a wins....

Looks like Susquehanna will take on Ihmotep out of Philly in the 1st round of States....   That's a very winnable game for them...  Central PA will need to have some solid performances in the State Playoffs in order to gain some respect across the State...

Teams like Susquehanna, McDevitt, Manheim Central, Cumberland Valley, New Hope, Mt. Calvery, and others will have the opportunity to play against the Philly area schools pretty soon in the playoffs...  If they want to be the best, they gotta beat the best.......

With experienced players such as Quinten Ward, Joe Marshall, The Mack Brothers, Tahki Turner, and Jordan Milberry, The Indians have what it takes to make a deep run just as they did back in 2008 when they met Steelton in the State Finals....

Stay tuned to see how they finish the season out....
